WE BUILD LEADERS

JCI members see challenges, not as obstacles, but as opportunities. We have the audacity to stand up and take action for what is just. We create positive change, and together as one united team—we amplify our voice in the Greater Muskegon Area.
What We Do
-
About
The JCI Greater Muskegon (Junior Chamber International) is a chapter of the JCI -- a nonprofit organization not affiliated with any particular religion or political party. Comprised of young active citizens age 21 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society. We develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take action.
-
Take Action
The JCI Greater Muskegon Chapter aims to build personal and professional relationships as we work together on projects to strengthen and grow the Greater Muskegon community. We hope to continue to grow our organization to meet our members’ needs including professional development training, community development projects, networking opportunities, volunteering, and more! It is our shared vision that we become the largest and best JCI chapter in Michigan.

“JCI Greater Muskegon is a fantastic organization made up of the most supportive and driven young professionals seeking to better serve the greater Muskegon community. As someone who is not originally from the greater Muskegon area, JCI Greater Muskegon is a great way to network and professionally develop while also getting involved and giving back to the community. The Jaycees are extremely welcoming to everyone of all backgrounds and I highly recommend them to all local young professionals.”

“When I moved to Muskegon over the pandemic, I didn’t know many people in the area or the community itself. JCI Greater Muskegon opened up many opportunities professionally and in my personal life. I am so grateful to be able to connect, learn, grow, and give back to the community throughout the year. I’ve been involved as a Jaycee for only 8 months and I already made so many memories along with friends for life. If you don’t have an opportunity to join, please consider supporting!”

“What I love about JCI Greater Muskegon is how the members become like a second family. I moved from the east side of the state and after the boss said join the Jaycees, I took a leap of faith and found some of the most amazing friends. This group of individuals cannot be replaced. Also, I value the impact we make on the community.”
