NEW TO THE AREA? LOOKING TO GET INVOLVED?
The Muskegon Lakeshore is filled with fun and educational activities all year round. It has a unique history and is changing all the time!
Participants will gain valuable information so you can speak knowledgably about the community to friends, family and visitors. So far over 2000 people have become Muskegon Stars.
Those who complete the session will receive a star pin, certificate and an Experience Pass good for free admission into 10+ Muskegon museums!

March Book Club Meeting
Our first official book club meeting is on the horizon. We will be discussing the book, “Before the Coffee Gets Cold.”
Please be sure to bring your book (or ebook) along for the discussion.
We will start at 1PM at The Exchange Coffee Bar, then after our book discussion we can scoot over to Hometown Creamery for a sweet treat and to go over what our next book should be.
If there are any books you would like to recommend, please feel free to bring them along or have the titles ready! We are always open to suggestions.
Muskegon Polar Plunge 2024
JCI Greater Muskegon is thrilled to be raising money for a good cause - Special Olympics Michigan. The Jaycees will have a Polar Plunge team in 2024 to jump in some cold water, raise money for a good cause, and have some fun! The Muskegon 2024 Polar Plunge will be on Saturday, March 2nd with plungers starting to jump at 2 pm on Muskegon Lake with Fricano’s in Muskegon kindly hosting us!

2023 Year End Conference & 100 Year Celebration
Past, present, and future members of JCI Michigan are invited to the 2023 Year-End Celebration from February 22 to 24, 2024 at Weber’s Boutique Hotel in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The weekend will include a celebration of 100 Years of Creating Positive Change by the organization featuring historical exhibits, special speakers, and more.
JCI Michigan is celebrating 100 years of creating positive change throughout Michigan. Our goal is to raise $100k for a General Member Fund for Professional Development Scholarships!
This fund will support many facets of the organization including offsetting the membership’s cost for attending the 100th Year Celebration and ongoing scholarships. The new scholarship fund will offer members personal and professional development opportunities by providing funds to offset the event cost hosted by JCI Michigan, JCI USA, and JCI Global to rising leaders.

Cornhole Tournament at Snowfest 2024
Snow Cornhole is back and better than ever! Teams of 2 will compete in the streets of W. Western Avenue between 4th and 3rd Streets in snowy downtown Muskegon. Registration begins and 9:00 am at Legends Bar & Grille and team play kicks off at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 3rd. The cost to participate is $50 per team of 2 and trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to first and second place teams! Space is limited, so register early!

Snowfest 2024
Greater Muskegon Jaycees Snowfest returns to Downtown Muskegon on Saturday, February 3, 2024! Muskegon’s largest winter festival features the return of Euchre Tournaments, Axe Throwing, and Snow Volleyball as well as some new additions including a Bloody Mary contest between local downtown bars and restaurants and a disc golf putting tournament. Snowfest boasts a jam-packed Saturday including popular events such as the Battle of the Bowls Soup & Chili Cook-Off, and our famous Cornhole Tournament!
